A good friend and former coworker just migrated down to Manatee and loves
it. I've been contemplating going down there for a long weekend but I'm

kind of person who feels guilty using sick days when not actually sick.


Manatee County? as I didn't know there was a Manatee city/town.


Her school is in a town called Manatee, but she lives in Naples.

Are you up in Acadia? I LOVE the NP up there. Been camping up
there many times as a kid.


We're on the coast about 30 miles south by road. I could get on a boat and
be there in no time. It is unbelievably beautiful. (and right now, tourist
free ;-))
