Great question. I am doing so-so. My pledge was not to be at or over
174 for too much. Lately I have been at about 174-175 lbs. I am doing
pullups every day religiously, however, I am not doing much of other
weightlifting. I do a sensible amountt of cardio though.

I just found my resolutions (google is a godsend and a curse...)

Amy's resolutions

**1.) Get back on track with my WOE and exercise: The train nearly jumped
the tracks, but I didn't derail.

So far this year I have taken up snowshoeing, joined a running class,
and make it to the gym at least twice a week, but more often four times
a week. I have been journaling pretty faithfully for the last two
months, and that really helps to keep me on track and motivated.

**2.) Stop procrastinating. I am very deadline oriented, and tend to wait
until the end is near before I kick my butt into gear. Good for
creativity, bad for everything else.

I've made a little progress here--now I set myself a deadline that is
well before the client's deadline. That has helped me to stay organized
and less-stressed, and gives me time to review and revise, and make
everything just a little bit better than it would normally have been.

**3.) Get organized. I have to clean up and organize my paper mess at
home. I tend to shove all of the pay stubs, bills, receipts, report
cards, etc. into one place all year, and have to sort through the mess
at tax time. Ugh.

I did great on this one--for a while--it's time to file and purge
again...Oh, and don't even look at my work office (shiver).

**4.) Take care of me. Since my father died, I have spent an enormous
amount of time taking care of his affairs, his business, and my mother.
I think it's time to look to what I need--I'll have to train myself to
say "no", and to be a wee bit selfish once in a while.....

I'm getting better at this. But it I think taking care of ones self is
sometimes the hardest thing to do.

I didn't actually make one. I had one of those "Oh my god!" moments
a couple months into the new year, which is what started me on this
whole diet thing. I really never did see the point of basing a life
changing decision on the changing of the calendar year.

I know what you mean! Whoever said running was cheap either? New running
shoes, running shorts now the weather is getting hot, obviously a new top
to go with them!, a Garmin Forerunner for the gadget factor, entry to races,
donations to said races so I look like I've raised money...... Visa love me!

Well done on all your other goals!

I was posting monthly updates but haven't for a bit -- partly because
I kind of fell of the wagon on a couple of my resolutions (Iike not
spending much on clothes and cutting back on Diet Pepsi :-) ). I'm
still doing fine in the food & exercise department, though (apart from
some exercise shortfalls when I'm traveling, which I sort of expect).

I'll have to do a proper update soon!
