Thanks all for the congrats on my first week's loss! I just had my
graduation party tonight and I was bad. The thing is, I didn't eat too much
at all. In fact, I didn't eat ANYTHING today until I ate dessert. I was too
busy cooking/cleaning prior to the party for lunch/breakfast and then
talking/visiting DURING the party for dinner. But when the cookies came out
there weren't as many people and I had like 12 little tea cookies. Oooops.
And probably like 8 mini cheesecake squares. I'd say it probably equaled 1/2
a piece of cheesecake. Yeeeuck. Of course I feel gross now. But I'm back on
for tomorrow. Going on vacation this Friday. YAY!!!!! and BOOOO! It's very
hard to stay on program on vacation!

Can I ask you a favor though? When I come back in here and think I can't do
it any more- just say 'Wedding!!!' to remind me of my aunt's wedding that I
am a bridesmaid in! I want to wow all my relatives that won't see me when I
am at school!

Congratulations on your graduation and your party. Even though there
will be other graduations, this one was a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
So of course, veering off program is to be expected. Staying on program
during vacation can be difficult but if you plan ahead, bring some of
your own food with you, and make good choices, you'll do OK. Have fun!

The problem with this world is stupidity, now I'm not saying there should
be capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off everything and let the problem solve itself?

I know. I can't WAIT for those long walks on the beach where it feels like
time stands still. I just walk and walk and walk and oooooops I'm 4 miles
from home. So I walk and walk and walk back! Lol. And GEEESH it definitely
gives you one HECK of a leg workout- walking in the sand- my calves always
burn SO bad after a walk on the beach but it's a good burn!

I think my main focus will be NOT SNACKING and PORTION CONTROL. We often
bring some snacks out with us to the beach and hang out. I want to eat a
good, solid 3 meals but little or no snacking in between. We usually have
sandwiches for lunch everyday (or leftovers) because it's easy and takes no
time (which = more time on the beach) so I can be conscious and healthy with
that (lite bread, low fat mayo, etc). Breakfast I will stick to fruit and
yogurt. Occasionally the family likes to cook big breakfasts on vacation- I
just won't partake. The good thing is that I will walk in the morning so
hopefully I'll miss them eating so I can eat alone and not be lured into
other things. Dinner will probably be my splurge. We will grill out and go
out, etc. Size matters will be my motto there though. Lol. Small portions. I
like to use a small plate for dinner because I eat SO much less!

Thank you, PR. Some of that eating was comfort food. I invited about 150
people and had written 'Regrets: call __ or email __' and I only got about
30 regrets. I'd say no more than 50 people showed up and we had food for
over 100. Grrrr. I was very hurt and upset. Thus, I ate cookies. Lol. I'm
back on track today.
