Default 4 month stall

So far I"ve lost 50 lbs. It took one year to do it and I've lost many dress
sizes - 24 to 14. But, I haven't lost one pound since Memorial Day. I just
keep gaining and losing the same one or two pounds. I exercise hard at the gym
3 times a week and never cheat. So what's up?

Perhaps you are losing fat and gaining muscle at a rate that doesn't
show a change on your scales.

When someone exercises sufficiently this can happen, in fact is a normal
part of the process of becoming fit.

If that were the case, it would be obvious to her when she looks in the
mirror as the fat would be fading and the muscle would be more and more
visable.

OP: How tall and how old are you?

Keep in mind that those 26 lbs you're looking for may be really hard to get.
If you're working out consistently, then you've probably made great gains in
your fitness. IMO, fitness is more important than simply not having visable
fat, (assuming you're not grossly overfat). Not that the latter is not a
worthy goal, but fitness is likely more important to your health at this
point (an assumption on my part as to where you really are) than is losing
that last 26 lbs. Of course, if you're determined to lose it, then you
might have to butch the hell up and lower your calories slightly and
steadily until you start to get the scales moving again.

Well, it does tend to get harder the more you lose. Sad, but true. Summer
time is very hard for me due to all the stuff going on and food seems to be
in front of me all the time.

I know you exercise three times a week. That is great, but it would be
better to do it 4 times. At least that is what most trainers at my gym say.
They tell me you need to exercise more than rest, hence 4 out of the 7 days
a week. Maybe you could just add a brisk walk one more day a week? I know
it is tough.

Also, keep an eye on the mirror and how you clothes fit. Just because you
are not losing pounds right now, doesn't mean you have not lost any fat.
The scale is not the only indicator of getting fit.

You have done great so far. Keep at it and maybe go back on Induction
levels or lowering your carbs for a little bit if you really want to see if
you can break out.

Enjoy,
Curt

I'M 66, 5'4" tall. Yes, I'm really a lot more fit than when I started and have
reduced body fat. I guess I can live with this.
