Default Checking In

Hello All,
It has been awhile since I have checked in, due to illness. I have had
bronchitis for over a week and am quite ready to be done with it. Last
weekend was my quilting retreat, and I am absolutely ecstatic to
report I have not gained a single pound! Yipee! The retreat was
equivalent to the food offerings of a cruise! I had a few sweeties,
but was astonished to discover I had no desire to binge. Meals were
not too difficult, it was all the junk in between. But I have found
that I much prefer feeling really healthy, than experiencing the major
sugar crash of my previous lifestyle. Even with the few indulgences, I
had a major headache the next day. I was also getting sick at the
time, but I know the brunt of it was the sugar. I was also pleased to
discover that I was most anxious to get back on track, and it has not
been the rollercoaster I feared. I am basically maintaining my weight
this month, and I have found peace with that. Hopefully I can start
walking again soon.
Blessings to all,
Jeano

Hurrah for you, Jeano! You did it! I am sorry you've been sick
and hope you are on the mend.
