Try eating a little less and take up some form of exercise.

See, this bothers me to have to read things like this.
Not to say it isn't good advice (I think that everyone should eat a little
less and exercise), however in the book, Atkins speaks directly about how
you should eat all you want, blah blah blah.

Perhaps the person having trouble loosing is eating hidden carbs, or not
counting properly. ....

Or, eating too much FOOD. The reason Atkins says "eat until satisfied"
is because he wanted me to LISTEN TO MY BODY as opposed to, just
eating eating eating more more more. I was surprised by low carb that I
was eating LESS, yet FEELING as if I had eaten far far more.

I'm one of those people who uses low carbohydrate WOE for appetite
control and that's about it, so take my experience for what it's worth
(from a woman with a low-functioning thyroid who has lost 70 pounds) I
don't believe that going on induction and then "blowing it" by eating a
carrot is going to "make me gain".

Even though I find my metabolism increased by Low Carbing, I wouldn't be
foolish enough to embrace it as a calorie blocker of some sort. How
much I eat still counts.

That's 2 and 1/2 pounds per week, so if you lose 5 pounds in the next
two weeks, you'll have 10 pounds gone. A little patience will go a long
way. Good luck. :-)

Yep, also the OP should ask him/herself how much weight they would be
loosing if they were going low fat or low calorie.

Not to mention how fingernail gnawingly, butt numbingly HUNGRY they'd be
between rations^Wmeals.
