Hello... I started doing Atkins seriously (and for all the RIGHT

reasons,
not just to get a flat tummy) on Tuesday night, at about 10pm, so it is
about three days in a few hours that I have been under 20g of carbs...

I should also point out that I am most likely WAY under 20 grams of

carbs
(if that matters), I have literally just been eating Kraft Cracker

Barrel
marble cheese, and Clover Leaf Flaked Light Tuna in water... as well as

eggs
and turkey or chicken.
I definitely eat red meat, but I haven't had much time to prepare

anything
for myself.
Today I also had some chubby chicken (breasts) at A&W, which I took the

skin
off (but I snacked a bit on the skin, BAD Steven lol).

But what I have noticed, is that even though I have been eating less, I

am
far less hungry, and don't want to sit down to a supersized McChicken

meal,
or eat 2 cups of pasta, 4 pieces of bread, and beef-tomato sauce.

What am I eating? I am eating for dinner (at work, cant cook and work

weird
shifts, so no getting to the grocery store (yet):

Kraft Cracker Barrel Marble Cheese (227g)
1 or 2 Clover Leaf Flaked Light Tuna (170g per can)...

I am drinking alot of tea (decaffeinated) and/or Pepsi, but that is

about
it.

When I get home, I am eating usually 4-6 chicken hot dogs (regular

sized),
or 4 eggs, and 6 or 7 strips of turkey bacon.
When I get up, I am eating perhaps a few pieces of sliced turkey, or

getting
some chicken (sans skin) as I mentioned above.
Also drinking as much water as before (which was ALOT, to say the least)

So I am wondering if I am experiencing the norm? the book (new diet

rev.)
says that after 2 days your bodies limited supply of something (I cant
recall the name atm) produced from steady carb intake is used up, and

your
body starts to enter ketosis, and it mentions that you WILL loose your
constant hunger in most cases, but is it meant to happen this fast?
If so, awesome...

Thanks for reading. You all seem so helpful here.

Yes, that seems normal to me. BUT you need to eat veggies!

please, recommend some that aren't carb filled. from what I can see, Atkins
just states that no starch filled ones are ok, but what is best?

Not corn! Lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower...
Doesn't Atkins have a list?

I've definitely gone through the exact same thing of not really having an
appetite. I find myself eating because I'm exercising so much that I need to
have some nutrition for that. However, for a couple of days my total caloric
intake has been 520 cals.

That happens to me sometimes too, I'll have a few very low-cal days, but my
appetite eventually comes back and then I'll have a day that's a little
above average, calorie-wise. I like to look at the weekly average instead
of daily totals.
