Why/How I made my choice...

I needed to lose some weight and I lost 15 pounds of fat - went from a size 12 to a size 4 in 4 weeks and am now continuing to use them for the nutrition and to lose a few more inches. You're a size 4 and came to a diet support group? Have you met Buddee? (Although truth be told, I think Buddee is too good for you. That bit about someone using your old IP address to post under your name selling the same product you're using is just hilarious in a pathetic sort of way.) Wendy |

Then your attorney will tell you that your IP address and the IP address on
the other posts WILL hold up in court. Otherwise, I'd suggest you find a lawyer who specializes in internet crimes. How do you think the music industry is going after the music pirates right now? And every post you've made, whether using your google account or your cox via OE setup, and over multiple days, you still come from the same IP address. Yes, your ISP issues you a static IP, but if you know anything about computers, you also will know that you are issues a "lease" and that lease is usually good for about 30 days, then the lease expires, you log off, next time you log on again, you are issued a new lease... and that is good for another 30 days. In many cases the way it ends up working is you end up getting issued the same number for your next lease, so your IP address will remain the same. There is software out there that allows you to forge headers, but it will NOT allow you to forge the IP address in the headers. Neither will google allow you forge any headers what so ever. Your stories and antics here just perpetuate the bad reputation that herbalife has already made for itself. If you to try to turn people around and change the reputation for herbalife, then I suggest you have a little attitude change. But the again, from what I can tell so far, you are much like "she who name must not be spoken" "Margaret" wrote in message newslQzb.76028$yJ.73458@okepread02... Actually, I've only stuck around because my attorney suggested that if I "engage" you people in conversation, someone might tip their hand. Frankly, though, you're right. I don't have time for this. That's what I pay *him* for! "determined" wrote in message ... "Margaret" wrote in message news:U_Pzb.75847$yJ.57381@okepread02... G'd I hope it turns out to be you... or one of the many others here who have been equally "charming." Time to go live my life. You all have fun with each other until you find one of your own. Oh, you have a life? Then by all means - don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. |

Otherwise, I'd suggest you find a lawyer who specializes in internet crimes. How do you think the music industry is going after the music pirates right now? Well, that's a whole 'nother can of worms. I've worked in the underground metal music scene for 20+ years. The *industry* (greedy major labels and artists) want to cut off the resources the underground has altogether merely to make a buck. The free music exchange online was awesome for unknown and underground bands. It was in direct response to the ripoff prices of CDs the *industry* charges. Come on...$18.00 for a CD???? Does anyone realize how little that cheap piece of plastic costs to make? (about $1.50). OK, so they make a cazillion $$$ profit. Unsigned bands and bands who are on little labels bring thousands of fans by providing free music. The music is what's important, not becoming millionnaires. Corporate shells like Selloutica can kiss my ass, AFAIC. Real metal bands like Iron Maiden happily give they music away for free online, because they know they're fans will love it enough to go and buy the CD after they hear it online (Bruce Dickensen's direct words). And Maiden makes lots of money, but they know what being a REAL band and not a kiss ass top-40 piece of crap band is. (I love them...) They know that by providing their fans with free music, they gain respect from their fans. It's a beautiful thing. Sorry, Jayjay, this is something near and dear to me. : ) Martha |
