Interesting Reading
While I'm not "doing" Weight Watchers, health problems in March triggered me
to lose weight. At the time, I was 39 years old, and around 370 lbs (around, because I refused to weigh). After a month of serious dieting, and pathetic efforts at exercise, I finally weighed - 357 lbs. Even at 6' 1", that's still very heavy, and I felt it every minute of every day. Now 40, I went to the doctor today with dizziness, and weighed 266lbs. The dizziness was low blood pressure since I was still taking medication even after the weight loss. My wife and I are just eating right, walking 30 minutes daily, and leaning on each other for motivation and support (she has lost 55 lbs in the same time period). I did a newsgroup search on "weight" and found this group. I intend to read it daily, looking for continued motivation and support. Keep up the good work!! It WILL be worth it!! |
