I purchased the chocolate milk and was surprised how delicious this is. I
was not expecting it to be so good. This may be a dumb question, but if I
want to make hot chocolate, would I just heat it or would I need to add
something to it?

I just heat it and drink it. I also steam it and use it to
make a cappucino. Quite nice.

Thanks...I will try it for sure. I still cannot believe it is not thin and
has such a great taste!

I just heat it and add either a dash of ground cinnamon or a little vanilla.

I too was so pleasantly surprised when I tried the vanilla Hood's carb
countdown. I love milk and miss it so this is a Godsend.
For Christmas I bought 2 battery operated coffee mugs from QVC. They
have the little mixer that spins when you push a button. They'll even
make whip cream out of skim milk. Well I pour in 1/2 c of the Hood's,
add a couple T of either Davini's sf vanilla, butter rum or english
toffee and blend, it puffs up like a thick shake and is delicious .

The first time I tried it I mixed it with 1/2 water and added some Splenda. The
next time I heated it and drank it straight. It was great straight, but one
thing that bothers me is that it constantly develops a film on top as it cools.
I suspect that thinning it with water might affect that, but I haven't tried it
yet.

I noticed this too, but it's exactly what real "hot chocolate" does! I
remember when I was a kid an my mother would make hot cocoa from scratch ,
it would get that same film as it cooled. I find it rather nostalgic

Is there really a Vanilla version or are you talking about their white milk? I
don't want to miss anything new. LOL
