Default fake meat? yuck

there are a lot of vegetarian foods that look and taste something like
chicken and other meats. you might think they're weird at first (i
did, too), but consider the following:

a) a lot of them taste really good
b)they're cholesterol free, lower in saturated fat, have no growth
hormones or antibiotics, won't risk giving you salmonella or a bunch
of other pathogens (unlike meat which have all of the above), etc...

c) they are in fact made of real foods that you're probably consuming
anyway (i.e. plant proteins, grains, etc)- so it's not "fake" _food_,
just not the actual flesh of a formerly living being.
d)they certainly couldn't be any grosser than the decomposing corpse
of a small tortured and murdered bird. you have a nice meal and
nobody has to lose her life-seems like a pretty good deal to me.

i haven't tried this particular brand, but there are a lot of good
products out there if you're open to giving them a chance.
