Default Cal counts please

I want to tally my calories for today. I need to know how many calories
there are per ounce in a banana and in roast beef. (I can't find my
Netzers). Thanks -- Mike

Mike, you might want to try the following sites:

NutiritonData: http://www.nutritiondata.com/
USDA Food Database: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/cgi-bin/nut_search.pl

Also, a lot of people on this list use FitDay (http://www.fitday.com/)
to track their calories. It has a built in food database which helps.

Bananas: 100 grams (3.5 oz) of raw banana = 89 Calories

Just saying "roast beef" doesn't provide enough info for me to look up.
Sorry.

U*nderstand one thing about calorie counting regardless of the source
of the cal count table.

It is terribly inaccurate.

I am just trying to get an idea so that I can put things into perspective
with this 2PD.

Good idea. Try all kinds of resources and make your own judgments.
