Food & Exercise -- 10/28/2003
Food:
8:00 (driving to work): energy bar (Didn't feel like breakfast after last night's big dinner.) 12:00 (work, brought from home): sandwich w/ 82g healthy choice smoked turkey, 2 slices f/f cheese, mustard, 2 slices whole wheat bread 4:30 (during workout): 16 oz. orange juice 7:00 (driving home): f/f blueberry yogurt 8:00 (home): 116g hame steak; 118g brussels sprouts; 1/2 sweet potato 10:30 (home): 1 oz. mixed nuts Totals: 1333 calories, 32g fat (2%), 177g carbs (53%), 83g protein (Rather low on protein and on calories, but right now I'm more interested in going to bed than in eating more :-) .) 4:15 Exercise: Shoulder warmups (plus a few moments of very painful trigger point massage from Ahmed :-) ) Combination consisting of a power clean, a front squat, and a push press: 2x3x20kg/44lbs; 2x2x30/66; 2x3x30/66 Snatch high pulls: 2x5x30/66; 3x4x32.5/71.5 Back squats: 1x5x30/66; 1x5x40/88; 1x4x50/110; 1x3x60/132; 1x2x70/154 Treadmill: 5 x (2 minutes fast run (6.0 -- fast for me), 1 minute walk) -- wanting to work up to a mile at 6.0 -- fastest mile I've done so far is 5.3 (I'm very short-legged, which doesn't help a whole lot with this, but I can certainly get faster.) Food & Exercise -- 10/28/2003
I walked 3.5 miles yesterday morning and put 30 minutes in on a treadmill
last night. I believe the scale I had was off quit a bit and was under-weighing my food. I have a better scale today. Also, I haven't been eating much because all the smoke in the air from the fires here in California has been making me feel kind of sick. Item Oz.
