menus?
I find breakfast to be the hardest meal to get crazy with. I make all kinds
of omelets, but I understand this can get boring to. Sometimes I eat leftovers, but having leftover roast beef for breakfast isn't for everyone. I really get creative with omelets. I use the egg part as just a shell for what I put inside. All kinds of cheese, meats, salsas, veggies and so on. I really don't get too bored, but do look forward to lunch. I look at it this way, some people out there don't even eat breakfast, so I consider myself lucky to have an omelet. It's a bit of a splurge (4 g carb) for induction but a nice change from eggs
when you need it. * Exported from MasterCook * Ricotta Pancakes Recipe By :Maggymae ADSLC Serving Size : 2 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pancakes/Waffles Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 tablespoons ricotta cheese -- heaping 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 packets splenda dash nutmeg dash cinnamon Mix all together and cook in butter. Serve with sugarfree syrup. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 179 Calories; 12g Fat (63.0% calories from fat); 12g Protein; 4g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 218mg Cholesterol; 107mg Sodium. Exchanges: 2 Lean Meat; 1 1/2 Fat. NOTES : The key to cooking these is to use medium heat to fry in butter and making sure they are thoroughly cooked on the bottom before you flip them. I make several batches using the whole tub of ricotta and it lasts me for the week for breakfast. |
