Default Time to be accountable

Hey all

I've been struggling the past month or so with the same 1 - 2 lbs and I'm
going insane. I won't lie and say that I've been most excellent and I
haven't a clue why it's happening.. blah blah. I know exactly why. I
haven't been sticking to what works which for me is 3 solid meals a day,
with perhaps one snack. I've been doing a lot of picking during dinner
cooking as well as in between snacking, not to mention that I haven't been
measuring portions (although I found out I'm pretty good at eyeballing). I
also have allowed drinks other than milk to enter my diet as well as sweets
here and there. The problem with that is the other day I allowed myself 1/2
a 9inch cake that I baked, not to mention spoonfuls of the batter!!!

I told my husband that it's time to start being accountable. I'm beginning
to get out of control. Normally I don't see a need to post my daily going
on's but it seems the best place to be true. So here it is. This is where
I will start being accountable for what I eat. Feel free to yell at me if
you see me eat something that isn't in tune with my goals. PLEASE yell at
me if you don't see me post daily!! I'm going to try to do it every
evening.

As for my goals, here they are.

- Eat 3 square meals a day
- Absolutely no junk food
- No sweets except for jam on toast
- Have something that could be considered activity at least once a day
- Eat as many unprocessed foods as possible

I've done it before. I can do it again. I just need to be accountable to
someone other than myself. My husband actually said something really great
last night. I'm going to make it my signature. He said "you don't want to
lose what you've worked hard for". It's a simple thing, but it struck me
hard.

Anyhow, expect my first ever accountability post tonight.

Hi Cp,

Just think of this as a brief rest period in your diet path, and take
credit for not regaining anything significant. Don't beat yourself up
about it, just resolve -- as you've done -- to get back on track. You
can do it!

I look forward to reading your accountability posts :-). After all,
that's why I do my "Food & Exercise" posts -- still, after reaching
maintenance.

In fact, feel free to join me (and Chris - waves at Chris) in our "Food &
