After viewing this site, I'm coming to think that Better Homes and Garden's
is attempting to redefine (or maybe even establish) the meaning of "Low
Carb".

BTW, is there something on that page (other then the msn) associated with
BillyG? Maybe I missed it.

just that it was on an MSN-managed page--i did see the content was written
by BH&G, but Bill makes a better hook, don't you think?

I am guessing it's because the page is hosted on MSN, as if Bill Gates
writes or approves the articles there.
Funny.

Mark.

First the mainstream tried to scare people off the atkins diet by
calling it an ominous sounding name like the high-protein diet, now
they are going to try to apply the low-carb label to anything that has
any kind of minor reduction of carbs. Theoretically, coke could take a
half teaspoon of sugar out of their soda and call it low-carb because
it is a tiny bit lower in carb than the regular stuff. We need someone
to police these people.

Police these people?

It would be more efficient for you to police yourself.

Huh? These are low-carb? They seem high-carb even by BHG's
already warped standards (as seen in their "low-carb" cookbooks).
