Default weekend's damage

I just got back from my retreat, and have no idea what the damages will
be, but definitely overate, which is very easy to do there. The food is
very good :-(

They were much more low-carb friendly this year, including a fish
chowder made with no flour (it was stunningly good). However, all
desserts had sugar - so I withstood the onslaught until this morning at
Sunday dinner, when I had a small piece of pumpkin pie with whipped
cream. It was far too sweet for me - but I downed it anyway.

All in all, though, I was good carbs, just very bad portions.

Time to buckle down again. Who knows? the last food-fest I went on
kicked me into a whoosh (just after vacation in September).

Some of us think you're not eating enough, and that your metabolism is
shutting down thinking that you're starving.

Just a thought for you to consider (... and discard).

No lasting "damage", I'm sure. Sounds like you were pretty relaxed,
yet in control, of your food choices. Yay!
