Does it happen often?

Do the people who reach their goals stop posting?

Just curious

I may not be a daily poster due to life getting in the way, but my goal is
lifelong, to eat the way I am currently eating for the rest of my life,
numbers or no numbers. So, in that sense, I will never reach a "last day"
goal.

That said, I often wonder the same thing. There are a few people who come
here to just get their number and buzz off, (sometimes coming back with an
"I fell off the wagon and gained weight, here I am again" post), but those
type are rare, and often are the hardest to get to understand what
lifestyle change means.

The post you just read, unless otherwise noted, is strictly my opinion
and experience. Please interpret accordingly.

You wish:-)
I've been on the board since 1996, and used to be a real butt pain!.
I'm still here and still fighting the good fight--with myself though.
Rosie's been right here too, also Jamie, and Barbara Hirsch. Sometimes
we hear from Adreanna and a few other veterans. We also had two ASD
marriages of members who met on the group, Cowboy and Stacy, Cynthia
and George

I've been around here for quite some time. Many of us don't have a number
we've selected for a goal weight. I'm just interested in keeping the
weight down and staying healthy. My doctor says he's very satisfied with
my current weight of 147 but I would like to lose a few more pounds. Maybe
some day I'll get there....maybe not. My biggest concern is exercise and
reversing or at least stopping the damage from osteopenia.

Thanks. I'm usually here every day, but you know us strong, silent
types. We DO make good listeners, tho.

Same here. I lurk for a few minutes every other day or so. That is
about
all I have time for right now. On a brighter note. I surpassed my goal
about a week ago. I have actually set a new mini goal now. Once I got
down to 200 I knew that was not quite enough. I have now set my new
goal
to 190. Only difference now is I don't care if it takes me a year or
longer to get there. BEcause I know I will.I still have to get some
recent pics up and running. I will do this someday. ~ I
procrastinate*? alot. I think when a person reaches goal it is even
more
important to read and post. I think most of the ones that stop posting
when they reach goal is because they feel satisfied that they can keep
thier new lifestyle running for the long haul. And dont feel the need
for
that support anymore. Kudos to them! But I like the feeling that help
and support is only a click away. peace!!

starting weight 365
original goal wieght 200
current weight 198
mini goal weight 190

total loss 167 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW
