What a lot of work! Thanks! May I make a suggestion? Have the alphabet
on the top, and when someone clicks on a letter it will take them to the
start of that letter on your list.

Since you're adding Oz restaurant chains, my all-time favourite is La
Porchetta - while they *advertise* as a Pizza Restaurant they do a lot
of other meals too, including some that are quite compatible with LC
if you hold the chips (fries). I love their steaks with mushroom
sauce!

We are regulars at some local restaurants here in Wellington, New Zealand:

Hog's Breath (http://www.hogsbreath.com/) - great steak and staff never bat
an eyelid when you ask for your meal with no potato or corn, or get the
salad with extra avocado and bacon as an entree (or the Chicken Caesar salad
main as an entree, but ask for no croutons). In Reading's Cinema complex,
Courtenay Place, Wellington Central and Queen's Drive, Lower Hutt

Hotrocks (no website) - excellent steak restaurant where you choose your own
steak or pick from the a la carte menu. Unlimited salads. No problem with
asking for your meal with no potatoes or fries, and getting garlic butter
instead of a carby sauce. High Street, Lower Hutt

Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ (no website) - do-it-yourself Mongolian BBQ so
you don't get anything that you don't choose. Pick your vegetables and meat,
put on the sauces and spices you like, hand it to the chef who cooks it on a
huge hotplace. Unlimited refills. Easy to ask for no complimentary Shao Ping
bread. Majoribanks Street, Wellington Central.

Cafe India (no website) - have a tandoori platter option which is fish,
chicken, lamb, prawns and seekh kabab all cooked Tandoori style, so low
carb. Ask for no rice. Allen Street, Wellington Central.

Cobb & Co (no website) - a nice steak & salad or vegetables, staff usually
cope pretty well with request for no potato or fries. Have a *fabulous*
garlic & mustard butter option to go on your steak! Also have other LC main
options like roast pork etc. The Esplanate, Petone, Lower Hutt and Main
Street, Upper Hutt.

Also if we're travelling up-country another favourite is:
Sizzlers (no website) - good steak & salad bar, happy to serve with no bread
or potatoes, etc. Fenton Street, Rotorua.
