Steak 101
"Sunshyne" wrote in message ... Thank you Damsel, that helped alot. Hanging in there. Going to think more on the things I can do. I got into the frame of mind today.. the things I can't do. Well, cut it out! You ARE going to get better, but it takes patience. I remember towards the end of wearing the Philly collar, I just started crying hysterically (and I rarely cry) because I couldn't brush my own hair. It's long, and I couldn't lift my arms much at all, so John had to do it, and I wouldn't ask, because I hated being that helpless, and it was SO snarled-I almost cut it all off, out of sheer frustration (no pun intended). I KNOW how you feel, you can't do the simplest little things at times-but between Damsel and I, we are proof that you CAN and WILL get better, and be able to do more than you can now! A year after you get this taken care of, you will marvel at how far you've come. Cross my heart and hope to die(t)GG Lynne A |

"Sunshyne" wrote in message ... I hope so too. Its on my mind alot. The school I am going to only starts up in the fall, once a year. Putting it off another year would be devastating to me. If it happens when I am in school... Then hopefully can make some arangements. I am doing most of the work on a McIntosh. Looking into purchasing one, in case I am layed up sick and need to do schoolwork at home. It sounds like you are planning and preparing, to be able to work with whatever the situation hands you, I think that's awesome! I'm considering starting school up again soon too. I was a CNA, had always planned on getting my RN once my kids were grown, but the injury makes me think twice about that, so I'm looking into ways to still work in the health care field w/o putting the strain on my body.
