Default State Fair report

We spent 6 hours at the fair - the longest we have ever spent! The whole
time that I was walking, I was either pulling a wagon with 2 or 3 kids, or
trying to run to keep up with DH, who took turns pulling the wagon!

I conservatively figured 210 minutes of walking, not counting time spent
waiting for kids on rides, or eating lunch.

I ate:

1 1/2 pieces of fudge - 4 pts (who knew that was so high?)
1/3 stick cotton candy - 1 pt
bite of elephant ear (about cookie size) 2 pts (guessing here)
1 1/2 ears corn with butter 3 pts
french fries (just a few) 2.5

for a total Fair intake of 12.5. and output of 8 activity points. Not a
bad trade off!

We all had an absolutely marvelous time! Even if my quilts didn't win any
ribbons. :-(

I forgot to mention that I went in the Fun House with the kids, and it was
great! I could climb the wonky stairs, and go through the padded poles, and
even went down the curly slide! I asked the guy at the top of the slide if I
was too big to go down (meaning, I'm a full-grown adult, not a kid). He put
his arm around my waist, gave me a squeeze and said "no, you're just right"!
Ooo-la-la! What a nice ego boost! ;-D

Good job on the exercise! Pulling a few kids in a wagon can be a great
workout, especially if some of it is uphill!

Congratulations on controlling the intake of fair food. It can be a
difficult challenge! Especially the french fries and cotton candy!

Glad you had a good time Wendy. Nice way to spend quality time with the
kids and DH. My DH isn't into things like this at all, even when he is
well. I do this type stuff with other members of my family though (parents,
brothers, sister, nieces and nephews). We always have lots of fun!

Sounds like you had a great time, Wendy. I wouldn't mind some of what you had
to eat right now ;-D
