I have a wedding date!
OK, y'all wanted to know, so I'm posting this from George's computer
since mine is not up and running yet, nor do I have a phone line or ISP yet. But I will marry George on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 4:30 PM! That's one big thing, getting that date set after my move. Otherwise, working hard at moving in, shaping up the house, etc... I do like it here in North Dakota so far. Except for the lack of quality fresh vegetables and fruits! Well, sometimes you find them on sale, but it's rare. Frozen are OK, but not quite my cup of tea. I am walking some, so is George. Though the weather is getting chillier. It's hard on my ankles, but I'm trying to do a mile every couple days. Our neighborhood is quite nice to walk in! I've lost some pounds since my move... most in one big whoosh, and about a pound a week since. I hit 240 today! Yeah! Cooking again is good! Gotta go, have work to do, but thought I'd check in to post this. More later when my computer is back up and running. That's what I'm working on, getting the room it goes in painted, so I can move my desk in. The cat is adjusting, but has security issues. He does not like seeing his new daddy go off to work. Oddly, though he is used to being outdoors a lot, he doesn't much want to go outdoors here. I've been taking him out some anyway, on his leash and harness. He has taken to occupying George's chair when George leaves. It's weird getting used to George doing these various shifts. When we first got here, he was on a day shift... but is now on graveyard. My body is confused too, even though I am not following his schedule. Cynthia 262/240/200 first goal |

I have a wedding date!
Glad to hear all the good news. I'll have no problem remembering your
wedding date as it's my son's birthday. Congratulations on being able to lose during this stressful time. If you think it's chilly now just wait until winter hits g I know this is a busy time but do check in as often as possible. Glad to hear everything is going well for you and George. CONGRATS!!!!
Glad to see you "almost" back online. You must be getting really excited (or stressed) about the wedding! I have a wedding date!

It's funny how quickly the cat has glommed onto George... he woke me up at 7:12 AM wanting breakfast, but then after he ate a bit, he jumped back into bed and sat there looking out our window (faces onto the street we park on) in hopes of seeing his daddy come home. I got up, they were both in here, George on the computer and Gray sleeping in the chair next to him. When George leaves for work, Gray often occupies his chair. |

Oh yeah, I am happy to be losing some! Even if it's only a pound or so a week, anything that might make my good pants fit better is a plus! I have an appointment scheduled soon for some blood work, it's been years since I had any... hopefully the news won't be bad. The clinic here was running a special for the public at a decent price and I thought I'd go for it. So soon, I'll know more about things like my blood sugar and cholesterol and all that than I've ever known before. There are not many options for gyms in town, but we may join one that doesn't look too bad. I don't think we'll want to walk outside in full winter with the sidewalks icy and all that. Once my computer is up, should post more regularly. Cynthia |

I have a wedding date!
Great news Cynthia, and congratulations to both of you.
Glad you're settling down OK (note to self: consult map of US to find out exactly where N Dakota is!). The big day isn't far off now - and there had better be some photos!! janice 233/161/133 On Wed, 24 Sep 2003 00:52:27 -0400, George wrote: OK, y'all wanted to know, so I'm posting this from George's computer since mine is not up and running yet, nor do I have a phone line or ISP yet.
