Hello, This is my first post here .. Im 37 years and I weight now 92.5 kgs. my height is 167cm I know Im still overweight but Im quite happy because I just lost 25 kg in 3 months. 4lbs/week was way too fast for healthy loss. Most people aren't happy knowing they've lost muscle. My problem now is that I have set a goal with my doctor to be 85kg. It s been 2 weeks now, not only I haven't loset weight, but I have put on 2kgs ! Not surprising. You can only starve yourself so long until the body says, whoah there buddy. Im really depressed. You have a choice. Fix it or be miserable. what to do ? 1) Stop starving yourself -- eat sensibly 2) Start a muscle-building plan, with intelligent use of carbs and protein to help muscle gain 3) Eat a balanced diet that works for you please help. Im following a normal diet (low calorie ) with ups and downs. somedays I eat around 800 cal,. where as somedays I eat up to 1500. 1500-2000 should be your goal. If you don't lose at 2000 up your exercise. but never higher than that. Dieting shouldn't be about starving. It's about burning more than you consume. Eating less than 1000 kcal/day is a sure way to screw up your metabolism, lose muscle, and feel ****ty all the time. Join a gym. Get advice about how to build muscle mass (the basics aren't that complicated). Stop trying to lose all the weight in one month -- shoot for 1kg/week max. |
