Default Weigh and Measure Day Results

I hadn't weighed or taken measurements at Curves since early December. I
had been putting it off since I gained a couple pounds over the holidays but
decided to bite the bullet tonight. It was much better than I expected.
I've lost a whopping 1 pound but as you can see below the other measurements
continue to follow a downward trend.
bust.................. -.5 inches
waist................ -1.25 inches
abdomen............ -.5 inches
hips................... -.5 inches
thighs............... -.5 inches each thigh
arms................. no change
body fat%...... -.9 %

I guess I'll stick with the current plan as long as the measurements and BF%
continue downward g

That looks really good Beverly. I hadn't seen you mention Curves
recently, so had wondered if you were still going. Glad it's going
well.

Way to go!

Around here I've noticed they are promoting joining by offering a new,
designer gym bag. I know that Curves has really popped up all over around
here (DC area). Do you have to sign up for a time to go? I've always
wondered how they control use during peak times since there is usually only
one circle of equipment in each studio. Just curious. Elise

Jenn

Thanks Jenn. I'm still looking to change to a regular gym this summer.
All this talk of 5K and weight training by others in the group has peaked
my interest.

Thanks Perple. It's been a real slow process but I expected that as I near
goal.

Thanks Janice. I skipped Curves the last three weeks in December. I was
off work and didn't feel like driving to it as it's half way between home
and work. I stuck to the treadmill and other exercise equipment at home.

Thanks Elise.

Most membership are for one year. After that I believe you can continue
with a month-to-month membership.

I've only had to wait for a place on the circuit once in the 8 months I've
been going to Curves. This happened early this month when many gyms get
the January rush of new people. The location I attend has 12 machines and
12 recovery stations for a total of 24 available slots.

Same here, even when it was crowded I've never had to wait long. There were
times I'd leave though because our Curves wasn't well ventilated and there
are times when my sense of smell is better than your average bloodhound.
