Default New to Group. Introducing myself.

Hi! I'm so happy to have such an active, supportive group. I started
the low-
carb WOE on 9/2/03. I've had slow but steady progress since then.

Like Anne, Dragon and Jean -- I've had a child at almost 41 (3 months
prior). My daughter was born 4/21. I also have a son who was born
9/98. I was overweight before children -- but even more so now!
It's so hard to work, care for children and find time to exercise and
eat right . . . . but I'm working on it.

Mine was 3 months prior as well. :-)

It IS hard. Nobody knows this until they've lived it. Do what you can,
Beverly. I see by your numbers that you're heading in the right direction!

Welcome to the group! I haven't been posting much since I've become
pregnant with my first child (will deliver at 40).

I host a FREE Monthly Weightloss Challenge if you are interested in joining.

The November Challenge begins in a few weeks!

Hi Beverly!
Glad to have you on board! I am 46 with an 8 year old and a 16 year
old. I find that because I am eating LC, I now have the energy to
keep up with the house, work, the kids' school, and my school, as well
as walking. (Of course I do have my off days ) Before LC eating, I
always had to snack and nap, pretty much in that order! The more I
plan, the better results I have! Best of luck to you, keep us posted
of your progress.
Blessings to all,
Jeano

Welcome, Beverly! And congratulations on your new daughter! It
seems like there are a few of us older moms here.
