Default Christmas Progess Photos

I just posted a new pic at the URL shown in my sig. It's slightly
different from my usual progress photos in that I didn't take them AS
progress photos -- I just happened to take them this year and last and I
had used them both in Christmas cards to the family to give with
presents. It occurred to me that they are practically identical except
for the weight and they are a year apart to the day (if you subtract
February 29), so why NOT use them for comparison? A caveat is that I
had a great time with PhotoShop, especially in the more recent one,
smoothing wrinkles, padding the eyelashes, adding lipcolor and
brightening my teeth -- I LOVE PhotoShop :-)

I have one of those faces where my "nothing" face looks like I'm
frowning even when I'm perfectly content. Because of that, I took
photos with increasingly bigger smiles for the most recent one. I was
frustrated, so just for the hell of it, I grinned as big as I POSSIBLY
could, like a Cheshire Cat, assuming it would look as ridiculous as I
felt doing it and, wouldn't you know, THAT'S the one that looks like I
merely had a nice, big smile on my face as opposed to, say ..., the
CLOWN grin I was jokingly going for :-)

In any case, I was 181 lbs in the one on the left and 145 lbs in the one
on the right -- I'm so happy with the difference that I AM grinning more
often now :-)
