Default Supplements?

What do people here take daily?

I have a multivitamin and a scoop of protein powder, I was thinking of
adding a fibre supplement and a fish oil capsule.

Katherine,
I'm currently looking in Vitamins and don't know much about
what I need to take. How do I determine it?

I was wondering about Protein Powders also.
How do you know which ones have value?

Pick a reputable company. Dont let price be your guide.
Check the label for the RDA (recommended daily allowance) on each
ingredient.
Recommendation .. take a product that is a complete multivitamin (that
includes B complex, vitamin C, folic acid, and minerals).
Read up on vitamins at: http://www.supplemen****ch.com/suplib/
They also have product reviews on that site too.

Look for one that gives you 20-25 grams of protein per serving.
Whether you choose soy or whey is up to you, but whey has a more
complete amino profile and higher bv level than soy.
Taste is the overall factor - Costco's brand is quite good.

A multivitamin, extra vit c, a calcium/magnesium combo,
glucosamine/chondroitin, CQ10, and a shot of Udo's oils in a daily
protein shake.

You dont really need a fiber supplement if you can get it from foods.
Choose more vegetables/grains(oatmeal, FiberOne cereal etc).
And you dont need fish oils if you eat salmon/cold water fish weekly.
I do like the Udo's because its blend of EFA's (essential fatty acids)
which you can read more about he http://www.udoerasmus.com/FAQ.htm

I take a multi for belt-and-suspenders. I should get all the nutrients
I
need from assorts veggies and meats but modern farming leaches out
unknown amount of minerals so I duplicate with the multi.

Standard stuff that doesn't fit in a multi - C, Cal/mag, EFA.

Beyond that all of the stuff I take are customized for my own needs
or attempts to prevent stuff in my family medical history.

Zinc+B6 to prevent prostate issue, B5+niacin to prevent heart
issues, baby aspirin to prevent stroke.
