To The Historian...
My brother, It is amazing and encouraging to hear what you have accomplished these past 10 months. Like myself, you have become committed to change your lifestyle for the better without the use of pills or surgery. You ARE an inspiration to those you interact with or see you on a daily basis, even though they may not acknowledge it. I am always encouraged when I read your posts of victories - large or small, as they help me to keep focus on the prize when I stumble. Thank you for being a part of this group and congratulations! To me it's one of the heartwarming things about this group, and sure helps to counteract some of the less edifying stuff we have to wade through. FWIW, I'm sure you are both an inspiration to many here. janice |

Atten-SHUN! ASD Roll Call! Fall In!
Are you limiting your roll call to males?
We could turn this into a roll call for all members. There are quite a few new members and I would love to hear the stats for everyone. I have to get you maggots into shape for General Matty's inspection! Sgt. Neil 385/282/220 Sgt Neil, your call to fall in coincided with my one month anniversary. of my new WOL and I am celebrating with my first glass of wine in a whole month. 30 days ago I started walking at least 30 mins a day 5 times a week, and eating less. Nothing structured, just thinking before putting food in my mouth and trying to move more. Today I weighed myself for the first time since starting and I am happy to report that I have gone from 104 kilos to 100.7 kilos. Not spectacular, but it's a noticeable loss and I am happy with it. And it is great motivation to keep going. Thanks everyone for being such a great source of information and support. Judith in NZ 104/100.7/??? (kilos) 228/221/???? Killed off the quick fast-food lunches and the similar dinners (although it is still hard when you finish at 7.00 and still have to go home and cook something healthy). Bumped up the exercise to walk at least half hour each day and to be more generaly active (as much as possible for an office worker). 120/101/85 - kilograms 264/222/187 - pounds Chris |
