I use an HST style routine, which has me increasing loads every workout over a two week period (3x/ week). By day 6, I'm doing max weights in a certain rep ranges for 15 or 16 movements, and I superset those. I typically do 4 or 5 sets of bench presses (flat and incline) , and 4 or 5 sets of deadlifts, and was as squats and leg press (among other exercies). All this while following a LC eating plan. I simply do not hit the wall anymore -- whereas I did when I first started lifting. I've adding bike riding to the mix now, so we'll see what that does in terms of hitting the wall. :: -- :: Bob M in CT :: Remove 'x.' to reply |
