In a week, I am going to an all you can eat and all you can drink(!)
vacation in Mexico. I am concerned with the eating part. Has anyone
had any experience with all you can eat resorts? I am planning on
having lots of exercise there.

Is there a clause in your reservation that states you must overeat G
Honestly, I think you'll find you fill up very fast after having been on a
sensible way of eating over the past few months. I've never been to a place
like this but last year on vacation my daughter and I ate at several
restaurants where the food was served buffet style(Disney World). I found I
didn't eat much more than usual because my system wasn't used to overeating.
Who wants to be stuffed and feel miserable on vacation. There are too many
other things to see and do. Enjoy yourself, eat sensibly and you'll be
fine.

I've had plenty, and enjoyed plenty. Cruising tends to be that way
too.

First of all, don't forget your journey to lose weight. You've
learned along the way how to eat foods and what foods are good for you
and what foods should be avoided or only eaten in small amounts.

Just because its a big buffet, doesn't give you gluttony rights.
Remember that.

Uh, I must have forgotten that last week....

Hello i,

No experience with all you can eat vacations...lots of experience with all
you can eat...lol. Have fun and eat great tasting foods but stick to
portions. Expect to weigh more when you return, but just get back to your
exercising and normal diet. You'll lose the few pounds you may gain.

I agree with Beverly, don't make yourself miserable. Just have fun.

Why don't you just relax for a change? Don't let the diet ruin your
holiday.

For the last 2 years we have went on vacation (Jamica and Mexico) and went
all inclusive and they serve a lot of things for people who are watching
their weight. Dont worry you will be fine enjoy yourself, swim, go shopping
in town and have fun.
In Mexico this summer every day at lunch I had baked fish with steamed
vegetables. It was great!
