Eddie any time you have time to share anything you think a 4 year old would
like I will print your messages and put them with the other one. I read the
other one to her and she was SO excited. We will have passes to the Magic
Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom, the Epcot and the movie thing. I can't recall
the name of that one right now.

Hi all,

Happy to report that I lost 2.2 lbs this week bringing my grand total to
76.8 lbs.

It's been just over one year and joining WW has been the most positive
life-improving thing that I've ever done.

The support from my family, friends, this NG and from my weekly meeting
group has been overwhelming and I actually believe in my heart that I can
do
this for life and still lose another 100 lbs...

Taking things one day at a time, but feeling really good about all of the
NSV's I've achieved in the last year, especially yesterday when I bench
pressed 190 lbs!!!!

Congrats Eddie.

Now for a curious question. How often now do you have to buy new clothes?

After dropping 45 pounds I went shopping with the wife and spent about $250
just on pants. From a waist of 40 to 34. The 34 was a tad tight at first,
but now fits comfortable.

I threw out all my size 38 and up pants. Kept someone of my old 36's.

Now I am up to 53 pounds gone and the 34's are getting real comfortable.
Just don't want to have to buy more again because now I need shirts.

I've just been (1) real busy since I got backed, (2) getting over the usual
jet-lag, (3) hoping to have some new good weight loss news to report and (4)
finishing up negotiations on this house I'm buying in St. Louis.

Finally I decided - I better report back in!

Hi John,

Nice to meet you

First off, let me say that because I am such a casual person and work from
my home, it is really easy for me to wear track pants or track pants type
material shorts with the stretchy elastic waist. I don't go out much and
when I do, I usually don't have any need to dress up. I've avoided buying
jeans or other pants because they were difficult to find. So I basically
lived in stretchies constantly! Not proud of it, but that's what I did.

When I started WW back in June 2005, I was wearing a pant size of 58 that
the tailor had let out a bit. My belt was a 60 and I was on the second
notch from the end.

By Christmas, I had lost 50lbs I finally had to breakdown and buy a new pair
of pants that were a size 52. Lucky for me I still had an old belt around
the house that was in pretty good shape.

By the beginning of last April, I had lost my closest friend to colon cancer
and I was asked to be a pall-bearer. I tried on my 58's and it was a joke!
I went to the tailor and he fitted me with a 50 waist!......it felt very
good. I was now down approx. 65 lbs.

A few weeks ago, I actually started to get compliments from people about the
fact that it was now obvious that I was losing weight. This has been
actually very encouraging since up until now, it's been really difficult to
tell that I've lost any weight due to the fact that I have been so
drastically obese for so many years.

We went out and purchased some new stretchy shorts and guess what? - instead
of being XXL, they were only L !!!! very happy about this.

Last week was the most uplifting situation since I started this journey - I
actually purchased a pair of zip up, button up pair of shorts - size 48
right off the rack in Wal-Mart!!! I was so ecstatic about this! My weight
loss today is approx. 77lbs, but I think my body is starting to tighten up
now, so the results of the weight loss are starting to show.

Spending money on clothes for me has only ever been out of necessity, but
now I'm actually starting to enjoy the fact that I had to face the
realization of purchasing new clothes!

As soon as I get down to a 42, I plan on buying a nice pair of jeans! That
will be awesome!

My wife has lost 57 lbs and gone from an 18 down to 8 !!!
Her blouse size has also gone from an XL to M
She's gone from a 38C to a 34B................hehehe......not good for me
I guess? LOL!!!! just kidding!!

She is so happy and as a celebration, I force her to buy new clothes every
week!

Last week, I spent $180 on her, $120 on daughter who has also lost 52lbs and
$150 on myself!

It's quite a bit of money, but it feels so good and I love the smiles on
their faces!

Nice going Willow!!!!!!!! It's a great feeling eh?
