Hot dang!! Maybe the cross-country skiing was part of the magic? What
else do you have up your sleeve?

Congratulations.

Cutting down the evening snacks, I believe, was this week's trick.

I am. I am trying to Maintain a larger clothing allowance. I
probably have it. I may attempt to WI twice next week. With the
lighter clothing and then a winter setup. (apple pies are chirping
downstairs......)

Thanks. All the exercise helps but x-country skiing is known to be
one of the best all around.

As for what's up the sleeve - a sore set of biceps. Most everything I
do is leg-based so the poling required for x-country skiing takes its
toll at the beginning of the season.

Another trip is planned for tomorrow before Thanksgiving dinner. The
weather is suppose to be the pits on Fri with the freezing level
rising to 9,000 feet and rain. Oh, out here with they define a
freezing or snow level. Most of our ski areas are between 3,000 and
6,000 feet so 9,000 ain't good. It has been between 1,500 and 2,000
feet this week so it figures that a long weekend will get crappy!

GGGGGGg. Thanks (for being speechless (g))

I could tell it was a good week. What's interesting is that prior to
the ski trip last week I was about 158 or so. The next two days after
were 160-161 which probably was water from the ski exertion??? Tues
was back to 158 and this morning about 157. So bobbling was the way
for this week. But I was also more determined and to really did watch
the snacking more.

But again, there is a bit of neuroses - last night it was deciding if
I really should eat the cauliflower and broccoli. But I decided to go
for the bulk along with the swordfish and yam. And I eat at least a
cup of those veggies along with the raw trimmed stems as I'm preparing
it for STEAMING (no more microwaving for me.)

I was going to take a piece of chocolate cake on tomorrow's ski trip
but just as I was typing this I realized it is Thanksgiving and the
evening will probably be more than enough. So peanut butter and jelly
it will be.

And I came back to this an hour or (pie making duration) later and you
were still without words (G)

Can we say, budding anorexic? Nah, I don't believe that I have a body
image problem. As I wrote Elaine, I may try weighing in with two sets
of clothes on THEIR scale to see what info I can gleam on clothing
allowances. (got to check the pies which did not go exactly like
the recipe suggested!!!!)

Thank you. I was happy and it did not feel that hard to give up a bit
of snacking.
