I like salsa, too. Just never thought about eating it by the spoonful!
Have to try that.

Instead of sweet snacks or point snacks. Just eat it by the spoonful.

Fred, I know you like the mango, what if you pre portioned it out so you
would have to get back up to get it? I was just thinking you might want to
do without but you shouldn't have to, or what if you only allowed yourself
to take it on exercise events? Lee

one of the best ways to eat it, and another one I like is make/buy salsa
then cut bell peppers into strips. Make them wide enough to hold the
salsa, use different colors and arrange nicely for company or to make
yourself feel better. Lee

Thanks. Actually, I did take the remnants of a bag (ziplock
packaging) and place them in the camping lunch bag. And I have none
available for home munching at the moment. I don't think that it
really works as deprivation since there are other snacking items here,
lots of them - including fresh fruit, veggies, and two-point bars as
well as skinny cows, and even real chocolate which does not call as
much as it use to. I should check the micro-nutrients in the mango -
maybe there is something that the body craves?

I remember reading that mango did have something in it that made you feel
good (like chocolate). Personally I think it's the act of eating a fresh
mango that does it for me, but maybe there's something in the dried stuff
too.

Good job. Sometimes we just have to whip that snacking demon into the next
county.
