Default 6th day and appetite is almost gone

I was going to post on this yesterday, because I was even getting a bit
worried. On day 4 of going back to induction-level carbs (20 or less) to
throw myself back into ketosis appetite suppression kicked in.

Yesterday, day 5, appetite was almost gone. I delayed eating lunch until 2pm
because I was just not hungry and really didn't notice the time pass.

When it came time for dinner I just couldn't bear the thought of eating.
Thinking about it made me realize I was just not hungry. I felt I would get
sick from overstuffing if I tried to eat dinner. It was like my appetite had
been completely switched off.

I thought about posting something to the group then, but didn't. Sometime in
the evening I ate a piece of cheese because I figured it was probably not
good for body chemistry to risk not taking in any nutrients at all.

This morning I woke up with normal hunger. After breakfast I am completely
full again.

The scale ticked down another 0.5 kg (1.1 lb) this morning. But my caloric
intake over the last two days has averaged just 1400, without even trying.
That doesn't really say anything about "metabolic advantage", which is one
thing I wanted to test.

I guess it's good that appetite suppression has kicked in. But from this
feeling of fullness I am getting I am thinking that maybe my body really
only needs about half the volume of what I "normally" eat to be naturally
satisfied. It's hard adjusting your mental image of how much food you need
to the physical reality. It *looks* like so little, but it really isn't.
