Default Chinese BBQ Pork - carb count?

For some reason, I can't find the carb count for Chinese BBQ Pork anywhere.
Can someone help?

Unless it's a chain or a brand name supermarket item you're not going to
find a meaningful answer. The carb count is going to depend on what they put
in the sauce. Your best bet is to ask the restaurant if they have a carb
count or how they make it and estimate the carbs yourself.

Chances are they are full of sugar cards from the BBQ sauce. I have
yet to taste a good BBQ sauce that didn't include sugar or honey
(usually both). That's what makes it so good.

FYI - if the sauce is thick and you didn't make it, odds are it's not
low card. Sorry to say, but avoid most restaurant sauces.

This is Chinese style "BBQ" pork - the small slices of BBQ pork with the red
coloring on the outside edges, served with hot mustard as an appetizer in
Chinese restaurants...not the traditional slow-smoked southern style
"barbecue".

This particular package of Chinese style BBQ pork was purchased at a Top
Foods supermarket. No nutritional info was on the package. I suppose I'll
try to call the store, but I wondered if there was any conventional wisdom
on what kind of carb hits these generally entail.

The reddish color on Asian style barbecued pork is supplied by certain spices
used to baste the meat.

I've eaten lot of it in my life and have rarely noticed anything close to a
sweet taste. I would add 1-2 carbs per serving and let it go at that. As you
say, there is no sweet sauce involved to account for.
