It's not like they aren't clearly marked. No one is being forced to
read them. Every now and then someone will object but I like that
because it helps me build my kill-file. :-)

Oops, I meant coincidence. I hope that you don't have a consequence from
calling yourself that. My DH was rushing me to get down so we could run
some errands.

Hey, Micki, I've been meaning to ask you, does Imajica come from the Clive
Barker novel of the same name or is that a consequence? I love the scary
stuff and he writes some of the best.

I think you have the right idea. Setting a series of smaller goals is
often better than going for it all at once which can seem daunting.
Then, as you get to each goal you can assess how you feel and look
before you set the next one.
Good luck

I thought I was setting a short-term goal...
I AM setting a new goal too! I looked back at my fitday.com daily and
realized I drank hardly NO water all day!

I am therefore going to set a goal that I drink 9 glasses of water a day
all this week.

YES YES YES!!! It's one of my absolute favorite novels. Since it came
out, I've read it 3 times. (One of the very "few" books I've read)

I have a copy of it in paperback and I started reading it but in paperback
the print is so small that reading it was too much of a chore. I checked
out a hardback copy from the library because I really did think the story as
far as I had read was good. I hope to be able to start reading it this week
again. (Now just watch, my schedule will really go to hell as far as free
time to read!)

Default Setting Goals

Hello Imajica,

You can definitely reach your goal if you apply yourself. I've lost 70
pounds in 4 months and 3 weeks, but that was with changing my eating habits
to healthy foods and exercising at least 5 days a week. I've got another 55
pounds to lose to reach my ultimate goal and I hope to do this by June 30th.

Good luck on your mission,

Paul

I'd like to ask, how does being male help? It's not that I disagree,
necessarily, but I would like to hear why you think males lose weight
more easily.

I've never understood the scientific reasons for this, but it
certainly is true in general. I've seen it time and time again at
slimming groups.
