Check out Walter Willett's "Harvard Food Pyramid". In fact, print out
the article linked below and bring it in to your class:

after all the reading ive done about low carb

course)--

I don't get why. The food pyramid has only been
around for a bit over a decade.

i was pretty shocked to see the recommendation
for 6-11 servings of pastas, grains and rice a day!

Perfect for a cow.

So my suggestion to fix the pyramid is simple:

Draw a line between the grain and the food. Label
the food above the line "Human consumption starts
above this line." Label the grain "Livestock
fodder. Nontoxic for most humans."

Only half a joke.

lol... yea.. right. isnt that how i got fat in
the first place?

Exactly.

it wasnt from over eating steaks...

Overeating is forbidden on Atkins. If you eat
plenty of grass it doesn't take much extra steak
to gain.

ah well. i guess theres no sense in arguing
the point. i just wish they would stop teaching that crap.

Give them about two decades. I the meantime, pass
the test by learning their material.
