Default Clothing size insanity!

I went shopping today to replace some staples in my wardrobe, since most of
my old clothes are too big now. I needed a dark pair of blue jeans, and a
long denim skirt. After 3 stores and at least 30 pairs of jeans, here is
what I discovered:

In Levi's, I am either a 12 or 14 in jeans depending on the style.

In Jordache, I found some 15/16's dark blue ones that fit well, but in a
slightly lighter pair of the _same cut_ they were too big, and the 13/14's
were too small!

Oh, and the Levi's denim skirt I got, which fits perfectly, is a size 10.
So I suppose this proves the adage "size doesn't matter."

With all due respect, I'm getting tired of these references to male penis
size. If you want to talk male penis size, there's no reason to couch it
in "size doesn't matter" language. Just say what's on your mind. I also
don't see how male penis size has anything to do with women's clothing
sizes.

I have (used to; I've stopped buying Nikes) about 5 pairs of Nikes, and I
have anywhere from 9s to 10.5s. Why? Beats the crap out of me. I also
have 40 inch waist pants that fit me well and 38s that don't.

ahhhh... it always happens... i guess the jordache clothes are mislabelled...
what i have discovered is that even breast size can go up and down depending on
the design.

From what this website told me, I should be wearing a bra that's one size
bigger in both band size and cup size than what I normally wear:

http://www.figleaves.com/us/sizing/sizing_guide.asp

I have tried bras that are one size bigger, but there are so much space in the
cups that I can start using them as shopping baskets.

I think the major problem is that we are of different shapes. Some brands or
cuts fit certain shapes better. For example some jeans are better for people
with bums that are big on the top (like an apple) and some are better for those
that are big at the bottom (like pears). That would have an effect on size.

Er, Bob....that doesn't have to be a reference to male penis size....it
could equally be about female breast size!

Um... you didn't happen to get hold of those sugar free jellybeans I tossed
did you? Lighten up.. you'll be happier and live longer and have more
friends.
And if her reply bothered you for some other reason then check out the spam
in your email. There are always at least a dozen ways to change that
*little* problem.. according to the spammers anyway, lol. They've got me so
confused I don't know whether I need to enlarge my boobies or the penis I
supposedly have hidden somewhere.. but then I guess if it's too small to
please that girlfriend they keep talking about then it's no wonder I can't
find it!

Okay -- instead of "size doesn't matter," how about the more wordy,
"the size of a man's penis isn't nearly as important as how sensual,
inventive and accomplished he is in other areas of lovemaking."

And rather than "size DOES matter" ... let's go with "big cocks are
just more fun."

Better?

I also
don't see how male penis size has anything to do with women's clothing

It was a play on words. Did you roll out of the grumpy side of the bed
today?

My roommate actually gave me an explanation for weird sizing stuff, even
within the same brand. He used to work in the clothing industry, and he
says clothing companies often have stuff made in more than one factory, but
it all ends up next to each other at the store. Different stitchers may
measure slightly differently, especially in the less expensive brands.

As I see you know, you really have to try on every single thing.
I have frequently bought two pairs of the exact same style and
color jeans (at the same time) but in two different sizes because
they were the two that fit the best. I frequently try on every
single pair of the size I am aiming at to see which one actually
fits. :-( Is it any wonder I hate clothes shopping?
