Finally !!!
WTG Beverly
Susan 260/219/160 --- 2weeks 4days 7:20hours of being smoke-free, 732 cigs not smoked, $135.42 saved, 2day 13:00hours of my life saved "Beverly" wrote in message ... Yesterday morning I stepped on the scales and was surprised to see a number I haven't seen in quite sometime. Just to be sure I weighed again this morning and sure enough I've broke the 150 barrier. I now weigh 149.5 !! It's so good to see the 140's again after a long and tough struggle to get rid of these last few pounds. I'm in the midst of a very stressful project at work and in the past I've usually gained a few pounds while implementing new software. It's so d*mn frustrating battling wits with a machine This time around I've been able to forgo the mindless reaching for snacks. The biggest calorie saver has been Crystal Light. Instead of a 100+ calorie snack I'm satisfied with a 10 calorie glass of CL. For now I'll continue to work out at Curves and watch the stress eating as I want to see the bottom range of the 140's! Beverly Congrats Beverly! I have also found that sweet drinks sometimes satisfy the snack urge. I like a drink called Diet Ice. It's made by Talking Rain and is made with splenda and has no calories or carbs. I'm also hooked on sugar free Torani syrups in decaf coffee or herbal tea. I got a bottle of peach flavor and it makes a kick butt cup o' tea. I also find my computer lab problems have triggered the snack urge, something about dealing with those dang machines. I like hitting Curves right after one of those aggravating days in order to take it out on the squat machine. Jenn |
