Default Multivitamin RDA values differ.

I took to looking at my multivitamin RDA values and compared them to the
RDA values at this site:

http://lpi.oregonstate.edu/infocenter/contentnuts.html

Severl discrepancies have me concerned that I should change to a less
that 100% daily multivitamin once I get a report of what I'm deficient in
but compared to what?

I don't think it's a good idea to take 100% RDA of almost every nutrient
and then overdose by simply eating 3 meals a day. There are some
nutrients printed on the label that are over 100%:

Manganese 3.5 mg. RDA 175%
Molybdenum 160 mcg. RDA 213%

I don't want to mention the brand because I haven't determined if some of
the multivitam's numbers or the website numbers that are in error.

Never new much about nutrients until today. Spent a good hour doing
comparisons and I'm still not finished.

Andyway,

Andy

I've got some on mine that are 2000%

I wouldn't consider urinating excess vitamins "overdosing."

But it it's something that's fat-soluble, you can get too much, like
Vitamin A. I don't know about the minerals.
