I made it for my wife and son using egg yolks, heavy cream and
vanilla. I fried it in palm oil shortening, then melted copious
amounts of butter. I didn't use LC bread, but a very dense wheatberry
bread that's fairly low GI. My wife and son had Smucker's raspberry,
and I (I've been maintaining for many months) had a piece with a
mixture of about 2:1 Atkins maple syrup:100% maple syrup.

I make 'Fried Mush' which I think is pretty darn good french toast
substitute!

4 eggs
1/2 ricatta cheese
2 tablespoons splenda
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon cinnamin
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Bake at 350 in an 8x8 pan for 20-30 minutes. Then you fry up a square
for breakfast and add some splenda or some low carb syrup. Yummie!

I agree. After reading your message I used a slice of my 7 carb
bread and atkins maple syrup, an egg some oil and butter and it was
delicious. About 9 carbs net and very very satisfying.
