Very average week. I stayed under 200 calories, but that isn't really
good enough at this bodyweight. So I wasn't expecting anything special
this weekend.

However my idea of what you eat affecting things 10 days later seems
to be holding up 'cos I lost 2 more pounds to 195

I'm out today so I must be careful. I'm gonna try stuff like chicken
salad instead of my usual disastrous fare when I go out.

I'm really happy to be increasing the clothing allowance, and I'll try
to keep it up next week.
I want to get back to my previous minimum of 193 very soon, then 182
is looking very doable

Great news Ray. I know you're glad to see the scale going down.

My fingers are crossed that you will follow through with the chicken
salad idea today and not be seduced by other tempting fare. Let us know
how you do?

Good job Ray, nice loss this week! I do agree, it seems what I eat can take up to
two weeks before showing a permanent result on the scale. Especially when I go
through an entire week of being not-so-good.

We went to the speedway grand prix in Cardiff. Very enjoyable evening.
We were aiming for a small meal at midday, then a couple of sandwiches
in the evening. I took a protein drink instead of the sandwiches.

In fact we found an italian restaurant. It was fabulous. I had fillet
steak, blue, with veg which was very nearly the best I've ever had,
and not bad pointswise. A small portion of tiramisu to finish, and a
lager.
My partner had veal. We won't normally eat veal 'cos of how it's
produced, but if we do a good italian, then maybe was can have a
portion.
We had another lager and a latte later on
then a ham sandwich in the evening. Never did get the protein drink.

I avoided the pies/hotdogs and beer during the interval, and all the
crisps on offer

I had a very low cal day on Friday, and today so overall with a little
planning, I've done OK. If I can keep it up all week I'll expect
another small loss this week.

Not only did you go with good intentions, you packed your plan with you.

In fact we found an italian restaurant. It was fabulous. I had fillet
steak, blue, with veg which was very nearly the best I've ever had,

Best laid plans of mice and men... Still, your meal sounds delicious and not
over the top.

I avoided the pies/hotdogs and beer during the interval, and all the
crisps on offer

YES! Avoiding the in-between meal offerings and beverages at such events, or in
general for that matter, can be the greatest challenge. That you managed this
is great success.

I had a very low cal day on Friday, and today so overall with a little
planning, I've done OK. If I can keep it up all week I'll expect
another small loss this week.

From what you've described, I can't imagine that your day in Cardiff will slow
you down in the least.
