Default 3 minor NSV's and a good victory on the scale

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share 3 minor NSV's I had today plus one on the scale. First
the one on the scale--it showed down 2.5 pounds to 253.75--I'm going to
change my signature line and hope it stays away!!! Now the NSV's--first, I
went to put my jeans on straight from the dryer this morning and although
they were a little tight I didn't have to lie down on the bed to zip and
snap them!! Second, I went to put my shoes on to exercise this afternoon
and for the first time in years I tied them by bending over and didn't feel
all the blood rush to my head and end up breathing like I ran a marathon!!
Third, it now takes more work to get my heartrate up to Target when
exercising at Curves--while this is a good thing for my heart it's a pain in
the butt while exercising!!!

Well, thanks for "listening"!! It's great to share these things with people
who understand the "feeling"!!!

Weigh to go, Janice!! Congratulations on getting rid of that 2.5. I can also
remember the first time I was able to tie my shoes and it felt great. I used to
tie then rather lose & then shove my feet into the shoes ;-D Ain't life great
now ;-D

Thanks Elaine!! Life is great, it'll be better in about 100 pounds
though!!!

Although I realized I'm only 3.75 pounds away from my goal for the NYNY--I
didn't think I had a chance of making it but now I might make it!!

Those are great NSVs, in addition to a great SV!! I understand about having
to work harder for the same heartrate - I've had to add on to my walking
route to go for the same amount of time. Good for you!

Great NSVs. And congrats on the weight loss.

BTW, one trick to getting your heart rate up at curves is to make sure that
when you jogging/marching on the recovery pads that you get your hands above
your heart. This helps force your blood to flow more and your heart rate
increases.
