Food & Exercise -- 8/28/2004

9:15 (hotel breakfast bar): 1/4 waffle w/ 3/4 oz. peanut butter; 1 hard-boiled egg; 6 oz. orange juice 12:45 (Indian buffet): 1 vegetable samosa; 1 piece chicken tandoori; a spoonful each of 4 or 5 different veggie or chicken dishes in various sauces; 1 couple of spoonfuls of rice; 1/6 cup rice pudding; 1 piece gulab jamun; a bite of a sort of carrot cake thing 3:00 -- 8:00 (25th anniversary party): 9 oz. wine; 2 oz. baked potato chips w/ 3 tbsp onion dip; 1/2 cup fresh fruit w/ sour cream dip; 1/2 oz. ziti w/ tomato sauce and 1 small meatball; 1 slice ham, 1 slice Swiss cheese, and a couple of small salami slices (taken from inside a hoagie sandwich -- didn't eat the rest); small piece (about 1/4 normal slice) chocolate cake w/ white icing Totals: 1885 calories (193 from wine), 74g fat (35%), 190g carbs (40%), 74g protein (16%) Averages for the week: 1634 calories, 31% fat, 39% carbs, 31% protein Exercise: Not much. Did some shopping in the morning -- hit the clothing sales in the mall (buying more 6s than 8s lately) and the liquor store for some wine to take to the party. During the party, took a short break to walk down to the end of the street and back. This is no more than about 2/3 mile total, but they live at the top of a very steep hill so the climb back up was a bit of work :-). Chris 262/141/ (145-150) |
