or ..
30 is hot
20 is nice
10 is cold
0 is ice

.... that's the way we learned it. Then just interpolate the in-between
numbers.

It's the Temperature conversion that still confounds me. Even with
years in biology and chemistry where Celsius was the standard.

Reading from the archives again, exactly what is in the at home kit, I know
this sounds weird but I really want to know, Lee

so, what did you want to know about WW? You will find that this group,

will
discuss WW with you till the cows come home, but will not respond to
cross-posts at all. Which is why we tend to succeed there I think, we

stay
on topic. Now, since you are not trying to get us in a fight with the

low
carb group, what was it you wanted to discuss ?

ROFL .. thanks..... i'll ask questions as they come up .. i'm happy
reading now I see heaps of non trolling posts. I love these discussions
about weight loss although I can't translate from pounds into kilos (

Discussions about food that we can eat is good to although i'm still

working
through the weekly books (I bought the "at home" kit).

Any hints/helps would be good .. I need to stay focussed .. I have 23

kilos
or so to go!!! :S

It's the same as going, all those little books as well as pre-paid envelopes
to send in your weights each week.

You can buy the CD Rom direct from WW. I got it, it cost me $70 Australian
and allows me to add recipes, keep track of weight loss etc and to track
points each day, it's well worth getting.

Although I'd have to issue a warning to all women losing weight ...
apparently carrying to much weight can affect your fertility and dropping
some of that weight can have the opposite affect ... seems my weight
loss is at an end for about 8 months as I add to the population of Australia
(all things going well) .. what a shock for an old boiler like myself .....

Yes, the CD is great .. but don't mark "I am pregnant" in the CD when asked
as it shuts down .. ww won't deal with you when you are preggers ...

I'm getting used to the idea, but we'll see .. it's early days yet and the
risks are high at my age ...

I'm sticking to WW though (unofficially as the CD kicked me out for
admitting I was exploding ) ... I get enough food per day and I don't
want to put on to much weight again, after all this hard work. Exercise is
out for a while though. Right now i'm down to about 1 tomato/cheese
sandwhich a day as everything else sets of the instant return button (
(which was what gave the whole condition away!)

Down from 95kg (started WW at 92)

To currently 81.3kg

Hoping for 75kg although that's now a dream for a while!!!

Wow, congratulations Bron. Best of luck with everything. Feel free to
email me if you want to talk. I'm a wannabe midwife and I have
personal experience with high risk pregnancies.
