gee, at goal since 1979?! see it can be done. One of our weighers has been
at goal for that long also. She is a pretty elderly lady. Lost 40 pounds
way back when and never put them back. I am going to be up a pound for sure
this week, but like I said, I earned it. Actually, I am back down again
this morning but using those averages it won't lie . This is it I think.
A little up, a little down, staying more or less the same. I think for me
it is very important to have a danger weight where I start to journal and
count again. Right now I am using 161, since I had a week of 159's in
there.

You are doing great, just make yourself eat an apple once in a while when
you want the meringues. They are so much more filling.

Quick, let's play see-saw.

I have already done too many meringues today. But then again,
breakfast on WI day consists of not much!

We had a substitute leader today. Interesting comparing styles and
also similarities. Today's leader has been at goal since 1979.

Good luck on your WI.

I guess it can be done. I just need to keep the focus on what I have
gained in LOSING.

I do the fruit thing as my mid morning/afternoon snacks. After dinner
seems to be the worst. For months there I did not have a problem but
now rummaging for junk is "compelling." Up/down...... the exercise is
the saving grace.

I need to refocus. I think I should do what you are suggesting - back
to Journaling to just see what I'm eating might be able to restore the
focus.

I would like it to be supported by a consistent eating pattern.

True since the prior pattern was up/down/up/down/up. This was two
smaller downs.

I made up a little set of rules for me. If I am over 160, I journal.
Usually just writing it down brings me back down to 159 something within a
day or two, even if I don't calculate the points all that strict, or even at
all. Just writing it down seems to do it. I got rid of my miss M's because
they seemed to be making me hungry? Go figure. I noticed that about an
hour after I ate a couple of em I would be very very hungry. And wanting
sweets. I had a whole week there before halloween madness struck where I
was dangling around 159 - 158. I am getting back there now, finally. This
past week was 160 161. So I wrote.

Sounds like a reasonable way to go. I will have to finish off the 20
or so tubs of Miss Meringues (G) and then start with your plan!!!!

I don't have any problems believing that spurting the blood sugar
level might make one hungry when it drops back down as it will.

And maybe being at a lighter weight, the effects are more profound -
blood sugar spiking easier with less places to be used and hitting the
brain faster.

I did work in a 27 mile bike ride this afternoon and with the chilly
temps (low 40's) I burned calories biking and staying warm! That is
one problem with sush - other than the miso soup and green tea, there
is not much in the way of HOT food entering the body to rewarm it (G)
