Induction-friendly gum?
Howdy!
I'm just starting the Induction phase of Atkins and I'm wondering what brand(s) of gum is induction-friendly (Atkins-friendly for that matter). I see that the carb count on my pack of Orbit is like 1g per piece but I think it's because of the sugar alcohol(s) in the gum and sugar alcohols aren't allowed in induction. Anyone? Anyone? Buehller? Buehller? Thanks! |

I don't think it gave a carb count but it is sugar free and has sucralose as a sweetner, which is allowed on Atkins induction (i think...the pros will correct me if i am wrong hopefully!) |

According to the New Diet Revolution, sucralose is allowed. Gum. Need some gum!!! |

I'm just starting the Induction phase of Atkins and I'm wondering what
brand(s) of gum is induction-friendly (Atkins-friendly for that matter). I see that the carb count on my pack of Orbit is like 1g per piece but I think it's because of the sugar alcohol(s) in the gum and sugar alcohols aren't allowed in induction. Either Trident or Dentyne here in Canada uses Sucralose (Splenda) in some flavours of their gum. Still, the carb count is 1g. Try Googling it or check their web sites. |
