You can do it! Next week, who knows you might even be at goal. Good luck.

WI today and I am 2.2 from goal. Just .2 and I would not have paid but
it's ok. Perhaps I will be there next week. It's going to reach 109 here
today. I did a two mile walk early this morning.
Breakfast was a 1 pt. yogurt, dish of watermelon and tea.
Lunch...ate out with my daughter who is leaving tonight for three weeks in
Austria. We tried a new restaurant. I had a small bowl of black bean
soup and then a chicken walnut salad sandwich made with honey lime
dijonaise on honey wheat bread with mixed lettuce greens and a teaspoon of
pomegranate vinaigrette. I drank lots of ice tea and water.
Dinner...cucumber tomato salads, zucchin and a few left over ribs from
yesterday, more ice tea too.
There will be a few snacks including another dish of watermelon and a WW
giant fudge bar.

Karen, I live just south of you and we reached 111 yesterday though
officially it was "only" 109. I made the mistake of not turning on the
air this morning and the thermostat near my computer room registered 91.
It has only gone down a few degrees. This side of the house gets the heat
from the west. Luckily I have another unit on the bedroom side. I have
been trying to clean my daughter's room this afternoon but I have had a
struggle to stay motivated.

No joke- I think it was 108 here in the San Joaquin valley where I
live. I try to do the housework in the early hours of the day or late
in the evening....

Thanks, Laura. Today was one of those days that I ate too much at home
and it is only 6 p.m. The lean cuisine panini just wasn't satisfying.
Tomorrow will be better.

This week I received the WW watermelon booklet and there is a watermelon
salsa to serve with chicken breasts. I am going to fix the recipe on
Monday cooking the chicken on the George. We bought a half flat of
blackberries today, a watermelon, bag of cherries and box of plums. We
grow lots of fresh veggies so I am set for the week.

We didn't get to have a meeting this week, our meetings are
Wednesdays, and canceled due to the holiday. I hope Judy gives use
the WW watermelon booklet this week. That watermelon salsa sounds
yummy. We have the Foreman grill too, and it gets a lot of use.
