Down 2.4lb this week. That makes up for last week's 2 lb gain. I'm only
0.8lb from my lowest weight set in February. Maybe this week will set a new
all time low weight for me.

Moving is done and I am back to walking a bit and eating better. The pool
reopens on Monday so I will resume my water aerobics 3 mornings a week. I've
got a little over 3 lbs to get to goal but I have been maintaining since
October. This up/down 2 lbs is getting boring. Good maintenance practice for
sure but I would like to get to goal this summer.

We managed to not eat out this week despite mom's wishes-she'd eat out every
night if allowed. Wednesday night we did a cookout at mom's instead of
battling the crowd at the club. Tonight there is a fancy party at the club.
That will serve as dinner for us. I'm going to need to control myself as
there will be lots of food temptations there. I don't drink so that's not a
problem but the food spread will be overwhelming for sure.

I am back to my summer routine of cereal & fruit for breakfast, large salad
& fruit/yogurt for lunch. Dinner is usually meat/chicken. rice/potato plus a
steamed veggie. Snacks are usually fruit, baby carrots, SF popcicles and my
nightly mini bag of popcorn with my 2 teaspoons of oil. I had been
forgetting my oil and I can feel the difference daily oil makes. Wednesday
night cookouts mean I get to experiment with a different type of fish and
veggie on the grill. My snack for that night is my usual popcorn. That keeps
me from tasting everyone's snacks that are brought to share. One of my
challenges will be to keep eating out to a bare minimum. I don't do well
eating out.

Well, enough of my rambling. Hope everyone has a good week.

Laura

Hi Laura
Perhaps we need a challenge to see how well each of us can do this week.
Eating out can be a downfall for me but I have done well lately
especially if I know ahead of time what will be offered. Is your dinner
a buffet or sit down? I hope you have an excellent week.

Hi Audrey,

I'm back from the party. I did not do too badly tonight. It was a buffet of
cold shrimp, pork & beef on a stick, cheese & crackers and a pasta with
shrimp and scallops dish. I had 2 cocktail plates of food plus several large
glasses of club soda. I did have a few small pieces of dessert. I tried to
stay away from the buffet table as much as possible. The weather was nice so
most of the time was spent chatting with friends out on the deck or sitting
with my mother. Tomorrow is another day. I'm back to my normal eating
schedule in the morning. Saturday night is my night to use my flex points so
I am not worried.

It sounds like you did really well. I rarely pass up small amounts of
dessert. They are just part of my life
