Default How do you burn body fat while retaining muscle mass?

In article ,
joni says...
Fat doesnt always come off in the area you want it to.
It may be coming off in areas you cant even see (internal fat
marbeling of your muscles).
Take some measurements. Compare in another month or two.

I like to think of my body as an onion. When I lose weight, it is like peeling
one, layer by layer and watching it get smaller. I've dropped 35+ lbs. in a
little less than 4 months while LCing to drive down my glucose level.

I've lost 4 inches off my waist. Which is visible to everyone.
My wedding ring used to leave a mark on my finger. Now it is loose.
My neck has gone down by at least 2". I have lots of room in my dress shirts
now.
My wrists have also declined in size. My watch band is loose and I'll need to
take some links our soon.

So I'm losing size all over my body (which is a good thing for me). I still have
abdominal fat, and will eventually shrink my waistline down probably 4" more as
I approach my goal weight.

My suitcoats are also fitting looser around my chest and shoulders. Now I don't
look like I've stuffed myself in them.

The most visible area where I have my fat is around my waist. That will go away
over time as I continue to LC.

But I'll continue to lose size in other areas of my body as my waistline
shrinks.

Spot reducing doesn't work and never has.

Muscle is only 20% protein and 75% water. Low-carb is not a good
idea
for someone who is very active.-

Horsehit.

I'm on a low carb diet, and it works beautifully for me. My mother is
very overweight and has high blood pressure. She asked me to find out
if it is a good diet for her to start.

David, email me at this address with a subject line about high bp. I
have some info I just wrote up for a friend who has high bp that I'll
forward along.
